MATT DAMON is following best pal BEN AFFLECK to the directors chair after signing on to make his debut behind the camera on A FOREIGNER.
The movie star will team up with screenwriter Chris Terrio, who penned the script for Affleck's Oscar-winning Best Film Argo, for the project.Terrio has adapted the thriller from a David Grann's article for The New Yorker, titled A Murder Foretold.
